【Device Description】This PCM5102 device is a monolithic CMOS integrated circuit family that includes a stereo digital-to-analog converter and additional support circuitry in a thin small outline (TSSOP) package. The PCM5102 uses the latest generation of TI’s advanced segmented DAC architecture to achieve excellent dynamic performance and improve tolerance to clock jitter.
【Simple Design, High Sampling Rate】The PCM5102 provides a 2.1VRMS ground-center output, allowing designers to remove DC-blocking capacitors on the output and external squelch circuits associated with single-supply line drivers. The PCM5102 accepts industry-standard audio data formats with 16 to 32-bit data. Supports sampling rates up to 384kHz.
【Super Performance】The integrated line driver outperforms all other charge pump-based line drivers by supporting loads as low as 1kΩ. By supporting loads as low as 1kΩ, the PCM5102 can actually drive up to 10 parallel products such as LCD TVs, DVDRs, AV receivers and other devices.
【Reduced EMI and Distortion】The PCM5102 provides up to 20dB lower out-of-band noise than existing DAC technology, reducing EMI and distortion in downstream amplifiers/ADCs. (Measured from the traditional 100kHz octave band of noise (OBN) that has been used to 3MHz).
