LED Energy Cell for the Westar 88 Compatible with Galactic Armory Westar 88 – Available in Red, Blue, Green, Yellow or White. Runs off two LR44 or 307/357 batteries (not included) for approx 8 hours.
This is our custom Grit and Beskar redesigned Energy Cell for the Westar 88 Blaster – originally made by Galactic Armory. The stock energy cell is one solid piece, but we’ve reworked it to hold a glowing LED inside. It’s a 3-piece design: an outer shell and an inner sleeve with an insert that houses the LED and batteries. The outer shell, available in RAW UV Resin or RAW FDM printed, has 4 cutouts along the sides to let the glow shine through. You can rotate the Energy Cell so you can see one cut out or two on each side. The choice is yours.
The inner sleeve is FDM printed in white with the end cap in black: white to help diffuse the glow, and black to block light where it’s not wanted. Inside the sleeve is a simple LED housing that holds two LR44 (or 307/357 Duracell equivalent) batteries. There’s no on/off switch to keep the profile slim — the LED turns on when you pop the batteries in, and shuts off when you take them out. Batteries fit snug and can be removed with a small tool like a screwdriver or small key.
Available in 5 LED colors – Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and White. On average, you can expect around 8 hours of runtime on a fresh set of batteries (some colors may run slightly longer or shorter depending on draw, but 8 hours is a good average).
These are designed to fit the Galactic Armory Westar 88 — they may not fit versions made by other creators.
Each piece is sold raw and unfinished — either resin printed (UV) or FDM printed, depending on your selection. Some cleanup or sanding may be needed depending on how you plan to finish it.
IMPORTANT: These are RAW 3D prints, there may be support marks or print marks. Even the resin prints, while very smooth after being printed, still require some sort of Post-Processing (sanding, painting, etc).
